Who we are

Bell & Tag is operated by Rachel Grubbs. This notice explains how we handle personal information when you use bellandtag.com, contact us about a piece, or join our mailing list.

Information we collect

We may collect:

• Information you provide, including your name, email address, message, item inquiry, and preferences about pieces you like or are looking for.
• Basic site and interaction information, including the page or item involved, referral or source link, date and time, and browser or device information.
• A one-way identifier derived from a network address to prevent spam and abuse. Bell & Tag does not store the raw network address in its activity records.
• Account and authentication information for authorized administrators.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• respond to inquiries and requests;
• send mailing-list updates you requested;
• operate, secure, and improve the site; and
• maintain business and compliance records.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run Bell & Tag, such as Vercel for website hosting and analytics, Supabase for database, authentication, and image storage, and Resend for email delivery. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the site and its users.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Email choices

Mailing-list emails include an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we stop mailing-list updates and retain only the information reasonably needed to honor that choice. Messages responding to an inquiry or request are transactional and may still be sent.

Retention

We generally keep inquiries and requests for up to 12 months, unless they are needed longer to respond, maintain appropriate records, resolve a dispute, or comply with law. Mailing-list information is kept while you are subscribed. Administrator and security records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for account security, operations, and legal obligations.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. You may also ask about how it is used or shared. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

Bell & Tag is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
